Location and directions

 

Pennal is a picturesque village on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

 

The beautiful harbour town of Aberdovey / Aberdyfi is only six miles to the west and the historic market town of Machynlleth just three miles to the east.

 

All around the house are wonderful mountain and hill views, across open countryside as far as the eye can see.

 

The Escape Guest House is an excellent base from which to explore the local area being ideally situated in the middle of all the areas most popular places and tourist attractions.

FROM THE NORTH

From M6 take M56 to Chester. From Chester take A483 through Wrexham and onto Welshpool.

 

At Welshpool take A458 to Machynlleth. At the T junction in front of the clock turn right, then just after crossing the bridge over the river Dyfi turn sharp left.

 

Continue for approximately 3 miles before entering Pennal. After the Riverside pub and just before the bridge turn right and follow the road up to The Escape on the right hand side.

 

Parking is to the right of the building and in front of the double garage.

 

 

FROM THE MIDLANDS

From M6 towards Telford and Shrewsbury, then onto the A5 to Shrewsbury.

 

At Shrewsbury go onto A458 through Welshpool and onto Machynlleth.

 

Then as above.
