Breakfast at The Escape
Breakfast, as we are often told, is the most important meal of the day and at The Escape we treat it with the importance it deserves. All ingredients are fresh, cooked to order and are of the highest quality. Breakfast is generally served between
8am – 9am, but times can be flexible, just let us know if you have any special requirements.
We endeavour to source fresh, high quality ingredients from the local area wherever possible...
- Our traditional pork sausages, dry cure bacon and free range eggs are from award winning butcher William Lloyd Williams in Machynlleth
- Our organic natural & fruit yoghurts are from Rachel's Organic Dairy in Aberystwyth
- Our jams, preserves and marmalades are mostly locally produced wherever possible

Our Honesty Bar...
We are also fully licensed and have a selected range of wines, beer, cider and champagne for your enjoyment.
This is provided in the form of an 'honesty bar' which is situated on the first floor landing and is open 24 hours a day.
The village local...
The local pub, The Riverside, which has been recently refurbished by the new owners is only two minutes walk down the road. The food is fantastic, similar to the Penhelig in Aberdovey only better! (In our opinion!) We always recommend booking as it is inevitably extremely busy but you are always welcome to go down for a drink and take in the stylish and relaxing atmosphere!
